Playstation 2
The Playstation 2, although beginning to be
understandably eclipsed by the Playstation 3, is still an impressive machine in
its own right. The Playstation 2 was famed for being the first console to
incorporate a dvd player, earning it a massive reputation, and whilst remaining
backward compatible with PS1 games offered the natural progression to Next Gen
console.
The Playstation 2 has remained a fan favourite for many
years, and has been home to some of the most successful and impressive games of
the last decade. Famous titles from the Playstation 1 years gained a dramatic
overhaul in graphics design as titles became more involving and realistic. Even
in its twilight days the Playstation 2 continues to produce stunning titles for
those not yet ready to take the leap to Next Gen consoles.
